Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Onsite
Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone with an electrical background and experience in ISO9001 who enjoys working hands-on to maintain and improve production excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance.

  • Collaborate with purchasing staff to confirm quality standards for external suppliers.

  • Set and maintain standards for quality, health, and safety.

  • Ensure production processes comply with state and national regulations.

  • Establish and maintain documentation and control procedures.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

  • Define and communicate quality procedures with operating staff.

  • Monitor performance, collect data, and prepare statistical reports.

  • Support released products by evaluating field performance and recommending corrective or preventive actions.

  • Assist with internal inspections and third-party agency audits.

  • Partner with state and third-party agencies on plan approvals and inspections.

  • Contribute to team development and resource management.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with ISO9001 standards.

  • Electrical background required.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Ability to read project plans and specifications.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership abilities.

  • Self-starter who works well independently and adapts to feedback.

  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
