Quality Assurance (QA) Lab Tester (Production)

Job Title: Tech 1, Quality Assurance (Field Assurance Lab)
Location: Tempe, AZ
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Interviews: In-person required

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician (Tech 1) to support daily operations within the Field Assurance (Complaint Handling) Lab. This role focuses on managing complaint samples, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and supporting image and video review processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a regulated laboratory environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document and log complaint samples received for evaluation
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of sample return kits (domestic and international)
• Assemble sample return kits and manage warehouse pickup/drop-off
• Track shipping activity and maintain accurate documentation
• Manage inventory of shipping supplies and order as needed
• Process image and video review requests using TrackWise
• Maintain and update tracking systems for all requests
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for all records and analysis
• Maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and adhere to biosafety standards
• Store and dispose of samples according to procedures
• Escalate issues to Supervisor/Manager as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccination, be willing to receive it, or sign a waiver

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with FedEx shipping systems
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• Experience in medical, GMP, or laboratory environments
• Familiarity with clean room or biosafety practices
