Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, backend testing, and financial services platforms and a proven ability to lead testing across integrated systems and deliver high-quality releases in agile environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate on an agile team as the QE member.
  • Review and clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Estimate, plan, and prioritize test efforts using test estimation techniques.
  • Create and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios for functional and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and maintain automated and manual test cases.
  • Log, track, and verify issues and defects through resolution.
  • Support UAT and Go Live activities with test readiness and validation.
  • Leverage Test Data Management to identify and consume appropriate data sets.
  • Apply strong QA&E processes and innovate test approaches under tight timelines.
  • Facilitate testing meetings, summarize results, report defects, maintain metrics, and provide go/no-go recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Loan Origination or Loan Servicing systems.
  • Expertise in Playwright or Selenium automation and test frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead testing for programs with multiple integrated systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of QE testing experience in agile environments.
  • Strong backend testing experience, including API and database validation.
  • Ability to create and execute complex SQL queries.
  • Experience using AI for testing purposes.
  • Good knowledge of Snowflake.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable test suite tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with minimal guidance and manage multiple initiatives in parallel.

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial services domain experience beyond lending.
  • Prior work in Agile/Scrum settings with CI/CD pipelines.
