Quality Assurance Consultant III

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team. This role involves testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, including both manual and automated test suites, and a strong background in Java and Selenium.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 years of experience with Selenium, Automation, and Java
• Ability to write object-oriented, reusable Java code for automation framework development
• Hands-on experience with Java Selenium for automation
• Understanding of Spring / Spring Boot architecture
• Experience in API & Backend Testing Using Java, specifically with RestAssured
• Experience in Agile methodologies and active participation in Agile ceremonies
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in both Automation and Manual Testing
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub/BitBucket
• Lean Agile Certification

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead test planning and case reviews, collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders
• Create and manage traceability throughout the development lifecycle
• Maintain and catalog test suites across all test types (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc.)
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks
• Identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types
• Execute manual and automated tests, reporting issues and defects with clear background information
