Quality and Reliability Engineer

- Bachelor’s degree (Master's preferred) in Quality/Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 + years of industry experience in component quality and reliability, background in RF components is a strong plus.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, Python, MATLAB, or equivalent).
- Experience with qualification testing, reliability methodologies, or product validation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, structured test protocols and technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with high-power RF components (PAs, LNAs, RF Switches) a plus
- Clear understanding of Industry Standard Quality and Reliability requirements, including ISO9001, IATF16949, JEDEC standards and others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with continuous improvement and failure analysis tools and reporting, such as 8Ds, 5-Whys, Kaizen, etc.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform statistical data analysis on product performance, reliability metrics, and manufacturing data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and execute product qualification campaigns, including planning, test execution coordination, data review, and final reporting.
- Develop, document, and maintain product test protocols, including electrical test plans, reliability test flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product or process issues, including responding to customer quality issues. Document findings using 8Ds and other processes.
- Collaborate with design, test engineering, and operations teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across quality systems, documentation, and test methodologies. Support maintaining ISO9001 Certification and overall company QMS.
- Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners as needed to ensure compliance with TagoreTech quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on-problem solving, data driven decision making, and cross functional collaboration with design, test, and operations teams. You may work collaboratively with Applications and Design Engineers as well as our supplier management team to assure reliable products. An ideal candidate would have some background in RF components and relevant requirements.
