QC Technician

Job Title: QC Technician
Location: Nashua, NH
Hours / Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 2am
Type: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $23 - $24 per hour with 10% shift differential
Training: 2-3 weeks on first shift. Split shift for 2-3 weeks. Supervised off shift for 4-6 weeks.

Requirements

• Associate Degree and / or 3 years’ experience in Quality discipline.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• MUST HAVE QC or testing environment experience

• Experience with Test prep and instrumentation

• Capacity to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions.

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal supervision.

• Acute attention to detail.

• Proficient on MS Windows / WORD / EXCEL / Outlook.

• Creative, flexible, and innovative team player

Responsibilities

• Perform and record all tests as outlined on customer and production specifications.

• Accurately enter test results into QC database that can be accessed and compiled for further Quality analysis and other Business Unit / Production requests.

• Maintain manual and electronic customer files of certifications and computer files of all relative correspondences.

• Conduct necessary instrument calibration and verification as required.

• Investigate customer complaints and nonconformances as directed by Quality Manager.

• Work with lab personnel, chemists, engineers, and Business Unit managers to help develop products, research history and trends.

• Uphold work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition following proper chemical hygiene directives.

• Detect, communicate, and troubleshoot variations in test results/performance abnormalities in a timely manner.

• Work overtime as needed.
