Schedule

Training: 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
Shift: 3pm to 11pm, Tuesday to Saturday



Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control grabs every four hours, along with additional grabs as needed.
  • Prepare and perform composite analyses.
  • Assist in shipping samples to customers and conducting other tests.
  • Perform chemical analytical and physical testing using advanced instrumentation and methods.
  • Communicate sample analysis progress and results with Production Supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and laboratory records.
  • Assist with composite analyses as needed.
  • Work safely at all times and report unsafe conditions to your Supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot issues in assigned work areas and communicate with your Supervisor regarding non-routine events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Plant Manager, or Production Department Head.


Requirements

  • Some higher education or a secondary science degree is preferred.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 6 months of industrial laboratory, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.


Language/Math/Reasoning Ability

Ability to read and comprehend work and safety instructions and directions. Comprehend basic math and other equations.

Physical Requirements
