- Experience with incoming, in process, final, or rework inspection
- Experience following blueprints / instructions within the inspection process and using hand tools (micrometers, calipers, etc)
- Bilingual / fluent in Spanish is highly preferred

or call 949.204.3861.FULL DESCRIPTION: This position will support the quality control function for medical devices, in the area of receiving, in-process and final inspection. With guidance and training from the QA Supervisor, the incumbent will inspect incoming raw material and sub-assemblies to assure that all parts are in compliance to released procedures and specifications. The incumbent, as directed will provide support during label issue, review and release as well as final DHR and package release. With direction from the QA Supervisor, the incumbent will also execute tasks and assignments assigned by the QA Supervisor. This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- As directed by the QA Supervisor the incumbent will perform Receiving Inspection, in process and Finished Product Inspection.
- As directed by the QA Supervisor the incumbent will perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials using approved sampling plans, inspection tooling; Micrometers, Calipers, scales/rulers, microscopes, pressure gauges, pin gauges.
- As directed by the QA Supervisor the incumbent will complete all documentation (inspection records, DHR, component specifications, labeling, etc) in compliance with Quality System.
- The incumbent will work closely with the QA Supervisor to assure that the QA Receiving Inspection queue is processed in a timely manner.
- As directed by the QA Supervisor the incumbent will support the Returns Goods Process.
- As directed by the QA Supervisor the incumbent will support the Document Control Process and help maintain DHR.
- As trained, directed and required by the QA Supervisor the incumbent will prepare test samples and devices for contract laboratory evaluation (e.g. Bioburden, sterility, etc).
The selected candidate will also possess:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent school and medical device work experience.
Experience/Preferred:
- One to Three years of direct medical device experience. Sterile disposable products experience a Plus.
- Preference given for QA/QC experience of medical devices and Receiving Inspection process/area set-up.
- Knowledgeable of FDA/QSR Quality System Regulations a must. Knowledge of ISO 13485 Regulations a Plus.

- Resourceful, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: $22-24/hour
