Job Overview:
- Maintain quality control of the coating process throughout the period of a job.
- Perform and report all Quality Control Checks during blasting and painting process.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
- Follow all the Standard Operating Procedures for these processes.
- Set up paint booth when painting
- Report inventory.
- Inspect and verify plates and shapes before shipment.
- Accurately pull orders using a RF scanner, move inventory, verify inventory, load, and unload cranes, operate a forklift.
- Check incoming shapes from the Mill/Customer
- Do additional Quality Control Checks when needed
- Practice safe work habits.
- Report any non-conformance found during the inspection process.
Essential Functions:
- Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading and unloading machines and trucks.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 Per hour
