Job Description
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in Oracle Utilities, specifically Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and Customer to Meter (C2M). The candidate will lead testing efforts, ensure high-quality deliverables, and drive QA best practices across projects in the utilities domain.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end QA activities for Oracle CC&B and C2M implementations, upgrades, and support projects
  • Define test strategy, test plans, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements
  • Manage and mentor QA team members, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and stakeholders
  • Review and validate test cases, test results, and defect reports
  • Ensure proper defect tracking, triaging, and resolution using tools like JIRA/ALM
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing
  • Oversee test automation initiatives and improve test coverage
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards, processes, and best practices
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA perspective early in the lifecycle
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in Oracle Utilities: CC&B (Customer Care & Billing) and C2M (Customer to Meter)
  • In-depth understanding of utility domain processes (billing, meter data management, customer lifecycle)
  • Hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect management
  • Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar
  • Knowledge of SQL and backend testing
  • Familiarity with integration testing involving web services, APIs, and middleware
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, UFT, or similar)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience in performance and security testing
  • Certifications in QA or Oracle Utilities (nice to have)
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
