SpinPlay Games is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Game Tester to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in elevating the quality of our games and ensuring an exceptional end-user experience. You will be responsible for executing and enhancing test cases and test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering to resolve issues efficiently. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience testing mobile applications—particularly Slots—along with a strong understanding of iOS and Android platforms, JIRA/Xray, and structured data formats such as XML or JSON. This individual must be comfortable working cross-functionally, autonomously managing project timelines, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Please note: Core hours for this role are 9AM-3PM Pacific time.

Key Responsibilities


  • Executes and improves the test cases/test plans for game testing.
  • Reports and tracks issues in JIRA.
  • Works with Product Management and Engineering to resolve issues as they're discovered.
  • Deploys mobile games on iOS and Android devices for testing.
  • Documents bugs and errors.
  • Reviews and analyzes new feature specifications.
  • Collaborates with Software Engineers to develop effective test plans.
  • Executes new feature test cases and reports results.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and troubleshoots reported customer issues and works closely with software engineers to identify solution options.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product life cycle.
  • Supports the development team in troubleshooting and recreating identified problems.
  • Performs various tests on the developed solution to ensure it functions properly and meets user expectations.
  • Runs with given project timelines to autonomously complete checks and sign offs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • 5+ years experience testing mobile apps or web applications
  • 5+ years testing slot machine games
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of XML or JSON
  • Experience with Test Management software (Jira and Xray)
