Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for Microsoft Power Platform and Azure-based solutions
  • Test Model-Driven Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate workflows, and Dataverse data models
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for regression, smoke, and API/integration testing
  • Partner with Developers and DevOps to define sprint-aligned test strategies
  • Validate deployments across multiple environments and support release confidence
  • Identify quality risks early in the SDLC and proactively prevent defects
  • Log, track, and validate defects with clear reproduction steps and acceptance criteria
  • Validate data integrity, security roles, and permission structures in Dataverse and SQL Server
  • Contribute to scalable QA documentation, standards, and repeatable processes
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning

Qualifications

Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 1–4 years of professional QA or software testing experience
  • Strong experience in manual testing of web-based applications
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity testing Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) strongly preferred
  • Experience validating API integrations and data workflows
  • Understanding of role-based security and access control validation
  • Basic familiarity with Azure and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers and DevOps teams
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
