We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Analyst with deep expertise in Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and Customer to Meter (C2M). The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of utility applications by leading testing efforts, validating complex business processes, and supporting end-to-end delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases
- Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing for Oracle CC&B and C2M applications
- Validate end-to-end utility workflows including billing, metering, customer onboarding, payments, and collections
- Lead SIT and support UAT cycles with business stakeholders
- Design and review test cases to ensure complete coverage
- Perform data validation using SQL and ensure data integrity across systems
- Identify, log, and track defects; participate in defect triage meetings
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business teams
- Support test planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities
- Mentor junior QA team members and ensure QA best practices
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle CC&B (Customer Care & Billing) and Oracle C2M (Customer to Meter)
- In-depth understanding of utility domain processes (billing lifecycle, meter data management, customer services)
- Expertise in manual testing with strong knowledge of QA methodologies and SDLC/STLC
- Proficiency in SQL for backend/data validation
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar
- Good knowledge of integration testing (APIs, web services, middleware systems)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in test automation (Selenium or similar tools)
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter or similar)
- Exposure to Oracle Utilities architecture and upgrades/migrations
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum model
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
