Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate and results driven Python Developer with strong SQL expertise to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and data driven solutions that power critical business operations. You will build and enhance Python applications, APIs, and integrations while leveraging advanced SQL development to support complex queries, stored procedures, and optimized database performance. The position involves developing automation workflows, data pipelines, and reporting solutions, as well as implementing secure coding practices, logging, and error handling standards. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross functional teams to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions, support deployments and system enhancements, and ensure applications meet performance, governance, and compliance standards. Required Skill
- 4 years of professional experience in Python development including backend development, scripting, and automation.
- Strong hands on experience with SQL and relational databases including query optimization, indexing, and stored procedure development.
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs, system integrations, and data transformation or ETL processes.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Git and software development lifecycle practices.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards, logging frameworks, and application troubleshooting. Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
Desired Skill
- Experience working with DocFinity ECM platform including administration, configuration, and workflow design.
- Experience developing Python based integrations with DocFinity or similar enterprise content or document management systems.
- Knowledge of document management, workflow automation, records management, document ingestion, OCR, and automated routing processes.
- Familiarity with retention policies, governance, and compliance frameworks within ECM environments.
- Experience with background job scheduling, task orchestration, web services, and message based integrations.
- Exposure to enterprise application environments and Windows server platforms. Vendor or ECM related certifications are preferred.
