We are seeking a psych LPN to join our team here in the field in East Harlem Manhattan.
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract 16+ hours per week
Compensation:
Pay Range: $40-42
Description:
• This position involves providing nursing services as part of a mobile multi-disciplinary treatment team in New York, NY.
• The role requires supporting individuals with mental illness, offering psychiatric treatment, and conducting skills training.
• The position is contract-based, requiring 20 hours per week onsite.
Requirements:
• Conduct physical health assessments.
• Assess health needs and refer participants to community-based medical care.
• Administer intramuscular injections and supply medications as prescribed.
• Provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services.
• Meet regularly with participants to assess health status.
• Provide health management education.
• Communicate with primary medical providers to coordinate treatment.
Qualifications:
• Licensed LPN within the state of New York.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to research material via the internet.
