The Prototype Assembler is responsible for building and assembling prototypes of new products, devices, or systems based on design specifications.
General Responsibilities
• Interprets technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand the assembly requirements.
• Assembles various components, including electronic, mechanical, and structural parts, to create functional prototypes.
• Performs soldering of electronic components and wiring of circuits according to specifications.
• Conducts preliminary tests to ensure that the prototype operates as intended.
• Makes necessary adjustments and refinements to models and equipment based on testing results and feedback.
• Inspects components and assembled prototypes for defects, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Identifies and troubleshoots any issues that arise during assembly or testing.
• Performs necessary adjustments or repairs to prototypes based on test results and feedback.
Experience / Qualifications
•Relevant work experience of at least 6 or more years.
•Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
