Reporting to the Regional Manager, this Property Manager role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and administrative functions of two affordable housing communities supported by a variety of federal, state, and local housing programs. The Property Manager will serve as a key point of contact for residents, address property and tenancy matters, and ensure each site operates smoothly and in compliance with program requirements. This position calls for a flexible, solutions-oriented professional who can balance office-based responsibilities with an active presence at property locations
Shift information:
- Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm
What you will do as Property Manager:
- Manage the full leasing cycle including applications, eligibility processing, waitlists, move-ins, and required recertifications in accordance with affordable housing program regulations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for residents; respond to questions, concerns, disputes, emergencies, and other day-to-day tenancy matters with professionalism and care
- Maintain compliance with lease agreements, agency policies, Washington State Landlord Tenant Law, and funding program requirements while preparing required notices and documentation
- Monitor property performance by reviewing occupancy, receivables, and work order reports; support lease enforcement and eviction processes when necessary
- Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, partner agencies, and the broader community while helping ensure properties remain safe, stable, and well-managed
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of multifamily or tax credit property management experience, with a solid understanding of leasing processes and resident relations - Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations and maintain organized documentation
- Working knowledge of affordable housing regulations and compliance requirements; familiarity with Washington State Landlord Tenant Law is a plus
- Experience with property operations such as occupancy tracking, inspections, recertifications, or financial recordkeeping is highly valued
- Valid Washington State driver’s license
