In this role, you will manage the financial health of a diverse and expanding portfolio, ensuring every balance sheet account is reconciled with precision. Job Duties

• Perform comprehensive monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled to the penny.
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements for a designated group of managed properties.
• Conduct the final review and approval of invoices, proactively flagging discrepancies and validating all entries for accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with property managers to communicate financial findings and variances in clear business terms.
• Assist with the seamless onboarding of new property portfolios as the firm continues its growth trajectory.
• Identify opportunities for workflow enhancement and participate in workplace improvement initiatives.
• Maintain organized financial records to support year-end processes and potential audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 1+ years of accounting experience, experience within the property management or real estate industry is preferred.
• Proficiency with Yardi or similar ERP software.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to resolve variances rather than just processing transactions.
• A stable work history demonstrating commitment and professional growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
