About the Role
The Property Accountant will manage high-volume cash-basis property accounting and reconciliations, supporting accurate reporting across the portfolio. This Property Accountant role works closely with property managers and leadership to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain property ledgers and post cash-basis journal entries
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and allocations
- Prepare monthly property reports and support year-end audits
Qualifications
- 2–10 years of real estate/property accounting experience
- Cash-basis accounting and high-volume transaction expertise
- Proficiency in Yardi and Excel
