Project Staff Accountant

- Project Staff Accountant will participate in finance and accounting-related projects
- Maintain general ledger account balances and supporting documentation
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and accounting summaries
- Review accounting documents for accuracy and compliance with policies and accounting standards
- Assess and document the impact of projects on internal controls
- Assist with updating and implementing accounting reports and reconciliations resulting from projects
- As a Project Staff Accountant, you will identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, procedures, and reporting efficiency
- Stay current on available technologies and evaluate how they may enhance accounting and reporting processes
- Apply appropriate accounting and reporting guidance to financial transactions related to assigned projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-3 years of financial or general accounting experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
