Job Details

Top Skills/Qualifications:
  • Heavy civil, self-perform construction - roadway, site work, underground, erosion control
  • Experience with Water Control, River Restoration, Dewatering Drainageway Restoration/Repair a plus
  • Schedule Management, Budgeting, RFI's, Submittals, Financial Reporting

Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of conversion factors and unit weights of all related construction materials commonly utilized in the industry (various aggregates, soils, concrete, asphalt, rip rap, rebar, pipe, etc.)
  • Ability to prepare/price water control, diversion and dewatering plans
  • Computer estimating skills, including Bid2Win Software (comparable to HCSS Heavy Bid), Bluebeam, and AGTEK
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Project
  • Ability to effectively apply estimating techniques and cost controls, and to interpret computerized cost data and systems
  • Knowledge of private, City, County, Denver Water, MHFD, SEMSWA, CDOT, State Parks, USFS, Army Corp of Engineer s, Division of Dams and Airport specifications, with a proven track record of bringing in contracts on time and within budget

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in civil construction, stormwater infrastructure, site development, structural concrete, or drainage infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
