Job Details
The Project Manager will oversee multiple retail and special projects simultaneously, managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage quick-turn schedules common in retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects from preconstruction through completion
Develop and manage project budgets and schedules
Review plans, specifications, and contracts
Coordinate with field teams and Superintendents
Manage subcontractor buyout, scope review, and performance
Conduct client meetings and maintain strong customer relationships
Oversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Qualifications
3–8+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
Retail, grocery, tenant improvement, or special projects experience strongly preferred
Experience managing multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
Strong financial acumen and cost control skills
Proficiency in construction management software
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
