We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This exciting opportunity requires a unique individual with a background in the restaurant industry and experience in construction project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, with a focus on restaurant construction. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
5. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
7. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
8. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
9. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
10. Coordinate efforts across the entire project, including planning, design, engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure a successful project delivery.
11. Manage project budget, including the procurement of materials and labor.
12. Manage client relationships and expectations, ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, specifically in restaurant construction.
3. Proven ability to manage all phases of a construction project, from inception to completion.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Experience in billing, financial planning, and strategy.
6. Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
9. Proficient in construction management software programs.
10. Excellent knowledge of building codes and regulations.
11. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
12. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on producing high-quality results for clients.
13. Ability to travel as necessary to oversee project sites.
