Project Manager

- Initiating and chartering different phases of the project
- Managing all aspects of project execution including creating and tracking cost, schedule and scope baselines
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Managing risks and issues
- Providing clear and accurate weekly and monthly project reporting and forecasting
- Delivering projects and organizational change management to production using readiness assessment, sign-off and project close-out techniques
- Acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment, identify and resolve project related problems, and successfully lead the team to accomplish all the project objectives within allotted time and budget constraints
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
- A current PM Certification is highly desirable
- 5 to 7 years of progressive project management experience in Information Technology.
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server is essential.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to work independently
- Strong Leadership skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing IT projects and be able to cite practical examples of this including example deliverables
- Experience with project scheduling tools and in particular with MS Project and Microsoft TFS
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
