Job Details:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Permanent Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. This role is pivotal in driving our projects forward and ensuring their successful completion. The selected candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks including tracking project schedules, participating in project meetings, assisting with budget tracking, coordinating with field teams, and managing project closeout documentation. If you are a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for construction, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
2. Track project schedules and assist in maintaining construction timelines to ensure projects are completed on time.
3. Participate in project meetings, maintain detailed meeting notes, and ensure timely follow-ups.
4. Assist with budget tracking, cost control, and project reporting to ensure financial accountability.
5. Coordinate with field teams to ensure alignment between office and jobsite activities, promoting efficient communication and collaboration.
6. Help manage project closeout documentation, ensuring all necessary documents are accurately completed and submitted on time.
7. Work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to achieve project goals and meet client expectations.
8. Utilize project management tools and software to track progress and report issues.
9. Contribute to risk management, including identifying potential problems and proactively proposing solutions.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role.
2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven experience supporting commercial construction projects is preferred.
4. Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and procedures.
5. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
11. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
12. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
