Responsibilities:
- Planning & Prioritization Support: Assist in the end-to-end planning and prioritization of Marketing projects for the annual and quarterly calendars. Support the intake process and forms by which stakeholders request Marketing support to ensure timely decisions.
- Operational Execution: Aid in quarterly and annual planning efforts by identifying milestones, preparing collaborative templates, and keeping teams to task. Set up and facilitate planning meetings, ensuring diligent follow-up and documentation.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables; maintain alignment by regularly communicating progress and managing day-to-day expectations.
- Process Maintenance: Continuously monitor intake and planning workflows to identify bottlenecks; help refine processes to increase team productivity and the overall impact of the program.
- Tooling & Governance Support: Serve as a primary execution resource for productivity tools (e.g., Jira, Workfront), leveraging them to radiate team information. Assist in establishing governance structures that empower decentralized teams.
- Status Tracking & Reporting: Provide monitoring and status tracking support for cross-team initiatives. Help prepare regular updates, reports, and KPI dashboards for leadership to monitor program health.
- Methodology Support: Help teams adopt and maintain consistent development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) by providing execution support and tool-specific guidance.
- Execution Mindset: Strong project or program management experience with a focus on collaborating across broad, cross-functional groups in a matrixed organization.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to keep projects on track and problem-solve in real-time.
- Communication Skills: Proven ability to deliver clear written and verbal communication across varying functional groups and levels.
- Facilitation Skills: Strong meeting facilitation skills; able to collaborate, plan, execute, and follow-up on team-level meetings effectively.
- Organizational Agility: Ability to self-manage the details of multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work.
- Process Improvement: Ability to spot opportunities for efficiency gains and help implement changes that improve team velocity.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3 years of Program or Project Management experience.
- Methodology: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.).
- Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Experience: 4+ years of Program or Project Management experience, with a track record of supporting large, complex programs.
- Organization: 2+ years of experience supporting horizontal projects in a large, complex, or matrixed organization.
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar.
- Industry: Experience in the financial services or technology industry.
