Volt is immediately hiring a Project Manager in Fremont, CA.

As a Project Manager, you will:

Analyze and optimize processes to ensure quality products are delivered on schedule at a minimum cost.  Provide project/team leadership with a systems integration view and the vision to establish an efficient, economical, and scalable infrastructure.

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Manage and establish relationship with the client and third parties/vendors
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks*Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:10pm PST. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in project management
• Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills
• Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
• Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
• Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
• Detailed knowledge of product development processes as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• Experience interfacing with operations, mechanical and manufacturing process

Pay rate: $38.00- $50.00/ per  hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
