Job Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate closely with business/function area managers and cross-functional subject matter experts to drive project activities and resolve issues.
- Work closely with, and provide direction to, business, operations, and technology leads to support program needs.
- Ensure that project activities are on a path to deliver benefits realization.
- Install an appropriate risk management plan for the project and ensure adherence to company and unit requirements.
- Follow Client PMLC methodology, risk management routines, and project governance activities.
- Proactively engage key stakeholders to understand and mitigate cross-team concerns and lead group discussions to develop resolution paths.
- Lead teams or multiple teams of internal and/or external resources on a project basis.
- Manage project budget forecasts and actuals in accordance with finance and reporting routines and methodologies.
- Create, maintain, analyze, and collectively manage variances to the project schedules and make recommendations or create action plans to mitigate negative variances.
- Prepare dashboard reporting to identify and communicate the health of the project for use by key executives.
- Prepare documentation/presentations to support overall workstream efforts and internal reporting routines.
- Assist in the identification of change introduced by the project and coordinate with appropriate teams for planning and executing "readiness" plans.
Must Haves
- Experience in transformative program and/or project management with major financial institutions.
- Proven ability to effectively manage complex projects and initiatives.
- Stakeholder relationship building skills to engage and drive cross-team collaboration.
- Experience in driving large scale tech-focused programs/projects.
- Ability to create and drive multiple project/workstream schedules in parallel.
Nice to Have
- Background in Accounting and Finance with experience ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, OneStream, Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), and/or Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA).
- Prior experience with system and user acceptance test planning activities.
- Experience with AI and automation strategy development and execution.
- Experience with data strategy development and execution.
- PMP certification.
- Ability to translate conversations with process owners and stakeholders into effective strategic plans.
