Project Manager – Excavation / Grading

Seeking a Project Manager - Excavation / Grading to join the team in Omaha, NE. This role is responsible for leading projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. What You'll Do as the Project Manager - Excavation / Grading:

• Oversee excavation and grading projects from kickoff through closeout
• Coordinate daily activities with field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Review plans, specifications, and project scope to ensure alignment
• Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Track production rates, job costs, and change orders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Conduct regular site visits and lead project progress meetings
• Identify and resolve field challenges to keep projects on track
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies

Must-Haves as the Project Manager - Excavation / Grading:

• 3+ years of project management experience in excavation, grading, utilities, or site development
• Strong knowledge of earthwork operations, quantities, and production tracking
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and specifications
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Excel and construction management software
• Valid driver's license

Nice-to-Haves as the Project Manager - Excavation / Grading:

• Experience with estimating or pre-construction support
• Familiarity with GPS machine control systems and basic surveying concepts
