Project Manager / Estimator – Fire Sprinkler (On-Site)
Compensation: $105K–$125K (DOE)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with a strong background in fire sprinkler systems in Los Angeles, CA. This on-site role is responsible for managing projects from bid through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage fire sprinkler projects from estimating through closeout

  • Review construction documents, contracts, and specifications

  • Prepare accurate bids and cost estimates based on plans and drawings

  • Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and system layout

  • Estimate underground systems and seismic bracing

  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and clients

  • Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure smooth handoff to design/field teams

  • Track project schedules, budgets, labor, and material costs

  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation

  • Ensure permits, submittals, and project records are accurate and up to date

  • Communicate regularly with field teams to support execution

  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator in fire sprinkler systems

  • Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, installation, and construction processes

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical drawings

  • Experience with hydraulic calculations and estimating software/tools

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
