Description
This Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Oversee full lifecycle management of data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout
- Lead subcontractor buyout, scope alignment, and contract negotiations with specialized trades including mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure vendors
- Manage project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and change order processes
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and MEP trade partners to maintain strict schedule milestones and sequencing for mission-critical systems
- Serve as the primary liaison for owners, engineers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, and overall project documentation
- Ensure adherence to rigorous quality, safety, and commissioning standards required for data center environments
- Mentor and guide Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while supporting overall team performance
Profile
An ideal Project Manager will have:
- 5-8+ years of experience managing complex commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, budgeting, subcontractor management, and contract administration
- Experience coordinating complex MEP systems and technically demanding infrastructure preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple project stakeholders and maintain strict schedule discipline
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with strong client-facing capabilities
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and construction management platforms
Job Offer
We will provide our Project Manager with:
- Base salary $115,000 - $145,000
