Job Details
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial and institutional construction projects in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle including scope development, estimating, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Manage project financials including job costing, budgeting, and change management
- Oversee field teams through superintendents to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout all project phases
- Review drawings, specifications, bids, and buyouts to ensure accurate project execution
- Establish and enforce project procedures, safety standards, and performance expectations
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project progress
- Represent the project in meetings, negotiations, and executive-level discussions
- Mentor and develop team members while supporting overall project staffing and performance
Qualifications
- 4 year engineering or construction related degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years of experience in construction management, estimating, and project supervision
- Strong experience managing project financials, schedules, and contract performance
- Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and union labor environments
- Proven leadership ability managing teams and driving project outcomes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
