Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We are seeking a passionate and innovative professional to join our team at our Plainfield, Indiana facility. You'll be a key player in our Engineering department, working under the guidance of our Engineering Manager to bring cutting-edge solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their product needs and offer innovative technical solutions.
  • Analyze customer requirements through drawings and other specifications to select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop detailed product models and drawings.
  • Prepare essential documents for tooling and manufacturing to ensure seamless production and quality inspection.
  • Support marketing initiatives by estimating resources and assessing project feasibility.
  • Lead programs focused on the development of new materials, manufacturing techniques, or products.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, particularly in materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering is preferred.
  • Proficiency in mechanical modeling and GD&T is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of structural, thermal, and modal analysis of mechanical components is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work under the Foreign Trade Regulations of the U.S. (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Individual Granted Asylum).
Salary: Target base is $68,000
