Job Details

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Project Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative Construction company that focuses on commercial TI work. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a challenging environment, is passionate about construction, and has a keen eye for detail. The Permanent Project Engineer will report directly to the Project Manager and will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and design phase of commercial tenant improvements projects, ensuring that all specifications and regulations are met
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of the construction team and subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are carried out according to plan
  • Review and approve project drawings and specifications, making necessary changes when required
  • Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Monitor the progress of the project, making sure that milestones are met and addressing any issues that arise
  • Conduct quality control checks, ensuring that the work meets the required standards and that safety regulations are followed
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, providing them with updates on the project status and any challenges encountered
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals, contributing to the overall success of the project

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 1 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the Construction industry
  • Commercial tenant improvement experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects
