Project Engineer
Kimberly, Wisconsin | $80,000–$120,000 base salary + bonus
Our client is a values-driven, family-oriented engineering solutions provider with a strong footprint in the Midwest and East Coast. Headquartered in Wisconsin, the company delivers technical equipment and service solutions to critical industries, helping customers improve performance, reliability, and sustainability—especially in fluid systems and water management.
As a result of continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in water and wastewater systems. This individual will lead projects focused on water treatment, wastewater infrastructure, and system optimization—ensuring timely delivery, technical excellence, and alignment with environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
  • Lead water and wastewater projects from planning to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and track project plans, timelines, budgets, and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality regulations.
Design & Engineering
  • Oversee and review designs for treatment plants, pipelines, pumping stations, and related infrastructure.
  • Conduct technical analyses and ensure regulatory compliance and optimal system performance.
  • Select appropriate equipment and materials aligned with project specs and industry standards.
Budget & Quality Control
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.
  • Evaluate vendor bids and manage contracts and procurement.
  • Implement quality control protocols and conduct system inspections and testing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience with water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of water/wastewater processes, regulations, and industry standards (AWWA, ASCE, EPA).
  • Proficiency in engineering and design software; GIS and hydraulic modeling experience a plus.
  • Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
