This Construction Project Engineer will play a foundational role in supporting wastewater, heavy industrial and select ground-up commercial developments. Working directly with Project Managers and Superintendents, this individual will focus heavily on project documentation, coordination, and field support to ensure schedule alignment, cost control, and adherence to brand and quality standards.

Description

Our Project Engineer will:

  • Support preconstruction efforts, including document review, bid leveling assistance, and subcontractor coordination
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, drawings, meeting minutes, and project logs to maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Assist with schedule updates and coordinate closely with Superintendents and trade partners to maintain milestone targets
  • Track project costs, process pay applications, and support change order documentation
  • Coordinate long-lead materials, vendor communication, and closeout documentation
  • Help uphold quality standards and proactively identify field or documentation discrepancies

Profile

An ideal Project Engineer will have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in construction - wastewater experience is not required or preferred (project engineer will be offered the tools and learning opportunities to grow)
  • Working knowledge of construction sequencing, drawings, and contract documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced retail environments
  • Effective communicator capable of interfacing with field teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

Job Offer

  • Base salary range of $75K-$90K, depending on experience
