The successful candidate will be responsible for scoping, preliminary designs and estimating capital expansion projects (CAPEX). Estimates will be conceptual to detailed AFE quality. PRIMARY PURPOSE: • Position will work directly with the Commercial, Engineering, and Operations groups to define capital project scopes, design information, and assemble into project estimate packages. • Candidates should have sound Engineering capabilities with basic understanding of project design and execution processes. • Prior project development experience expected with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to work with internal and external subject matter experts and incorporate feedback into designs. • Experience with estimating software. • Liquids Terminals/ Facilities type experience is a plus • Projects will require in-depth studies of operating parameters and equipment options.
• Estimates must be well thought out, organized, logical, clear and concise. • Confirm actual field conditions. • Oversight and management of 3rd party Engineering assistance. • Perform other duties as assigned. • This position will work a hybrid schedule including work from Office 3-days (Mon-Wed) and work remotely (home) Thursdays and Fridays. The Office is located downtown at 1001 Louisiana, Houston Texas 77002. Parking or Bus service is provided.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: • A minimum of 5-7 years direct capital estimating or project management experience
