RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR

  • The Project Accounting Coordinator will draft subcontract agreements, Set up subcontractors includes contract set up
  • Assemble invoicing packages (invoice, gathering sworn statement, waivers) using Viewpoint Spectrum construction accounting system.
  • Billing responsibilities, monthly billing, related waivers/sworn statements.
  • Issue invoices to Client (per direction from PM)
  • Issue subcontract/vendor payments
  • Collect subcontract/vendor waivers and ensure accuracy
  • Obtain COI’s (Certificate of Insurance) and ensure accuracy
  • Account Receivable follow-up in coordination with Project Managers
  • Assist with job cost reports
  • Job summary preparation for WIP analysis and completion of WIP journal entry
  • Apply cash receipts
  • Prepare upload and distribution/attachment of certified payroll reports
  • Monthly union reporting responsibility
  • Quarterly wetland banks reporting
  • Obtain vendor accounts
  • Manage Deltek bid opportunities (status, bid results, etc.)
  • Work as a liaison between field personnel and accounting department to communicate cost data on all jobs.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE PROJECT ACCOUNTING ROLE:

  • Experience working in the construction industry
  • Experience working with a construction accounting system, Viewpoint Spectrum preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-minded

MaxSalary: USD85000
MinSalary: USD75000
