Project Accountant

Join a reputable Construction company seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support billing, job cost tracking, and project financials. Strong experience with construction pay applications, lien waivers, and change orders is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• The Project Accountant will Prepare and submit construction pay applications (AIA formats preferred)
• Collect, verify, and track lien waivers and compliance documentation
• Process and monitor change orders, pricing, and billing adjustments
• Review subcontractor/vendor invoices and compare to contracts/POs
• Maintain project budgets, job cost reports, and committed cost tracking
• Coordinate with Project Managers on billing, AR, and financial updates
• Support contract setup, billing schedules, and documentation accuracy

Requirements

• The Project Accountant must have Prior construction accounting experience
• Proficiency with construction accounting systems (Spectrum, Viewpoint, CMiC, Procore, etc.)
• Excellent organization, accuracy, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects
