Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Programmer Analyst to design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions, playing a dual role as a programmer and analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, code, test, and debug programs based on user requirements using languages such as Java, .NET, Python, SQL, or others.
Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and cross-functional teams to gather and define application needs.
Modify and enhance existing software to improve performance, add new features, or meet new business needs.
Create and maintain documentation including requirements, system specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with security standards, coding best practices, and project timelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, or similar role.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, SQL, or JavaScript.
Experience with database systems like Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Understanding of data modeling and reporting tools.
Knowledge of system integration and API development.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Working Conditions:
Office-based or hybrid remote environment.
Occasional after-hours support may be required.
May involve collaboration with international teams across time zones.
