Position Overview
Join us in the summer of 2026 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen. We are seeking an organized and diligent Program Office Supervisor who embodies our core values and is committed to nurturing young artists. As a Program Office Supervisor, you will lead the Program Office Staff in preparing printed programs that describe the sequence of events at a concert, recital, or other presentation. In addition to the sequence of events, the programs recognize instructors and students involved in the presentation and help visitors learn about Interlochen. It is common for students and parents to keep programs in scrapbooks for many years.
What You Get To Do
- Overseeing the summer Program Office Staff to ensure the quality and accuracy of printed programs for a variety of Camp performances within a set deadline.
- Gathering performance details, typing, properly formatting information, and preparing a large volume of programs for concerts, recitals, and other arts presentations.
- Managing a large volume of work, planning ahead, and budgeting time to ensure the completion of programs.
- Primary working hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm though additional time may be required depending on workload.

- Prepared to live in a residence hall with a roommate. While we offer accessible housing accommodations, please note that due to the rustic nature of our camp, these options are limited.
- Position requires strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel, Gmail, and Google Drive.
- Advanced knowledge of musical literature and editing/proofing skills are required.
- Must be an independent and self-motivated worker with strong attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable managing a small team.
- Must communicate well with others (both in-person and through email) and enjoy a busy work environment.
- Must be able to work well with faculty and staff to obtain necessary information.

- Rustic Living:Youll be living in a nature cabin setting, surrounded by the beauty of northern Michigan. Wi-Fi and air conditioning are not provided in the nature cabins, encouraging a true disconnect from the digital world and a deeper connection with nature and those around you.
