Job Title: Program Manager Business Professional III
Location: 5000 Davis Dr, Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC 27709
Duration: 6-month contract (with potential extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $90 $105/hr (W2)
Benefits: Weekly pay + Medical, Dental, Vision
Work Schedule: MondayFriday, standard business hours (occasional overtime as needed)
Work Type: On-site, operational pharmaceutical facility (RTP, NC)

Role Overview
This is an on-site Operational Readiness Project Manager role supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in RTP, NC. The Program Manager will lead readiness workstreams to ensure the site is fully prepared to implement change and sustain it within routine production operations.
Strong experience in large-scale drug substance manufacturing, including operational and quality assurance functions, is required. Prior exposure to MES / EBR systems is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Readiness & Project Execution
  • Lead business process mapping and change impact assessments, including identification of risks and mitigation strategies
  • Develop and manage action item trackers, readiness task trackers, and workstream plans
  • Ensure documentation updates are tracked and completed in alignment with readiness plans
  • Lead operational readiness activities across multiple functional workstreams
Planning, Tracking & Reporting
  • Build and maintain project schedules; gather weekly status updates from stakeholders
  • Identify schedule risks and drive mitigation planning
  • Develop and present weekly progress dashboards and status reports
  • Generate, update, and report on readiness trackers and workstream metrics
Workstream Leadership & Facilitation
  • Lead workstream meetings, working sessions, and functional review sessions
  • Capture meeting notes, action items, decisions, and risks
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to drive alignment, decisions, and execution
  • Translate current-state vs. future-state process flows into actionable operational plans

Tools & Systems
  • Strong proficiency with project management and visualization tools such as:
    • MS Project
    • Smartsheet
    • Visio (process mapping and flow diagrams)
    • Think-Cell or similar tools
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • MES / EBR exposure strongly preferred

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Sciences, Project Management, or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of project management experience or project management support experience
  • Proven experience applying PMBOK / PMI-based project management principles
  • Experience leading or supporting operational readiness initiatives preferred
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated, compliance-driven pharmaceutical environment
  • Comfortable working in an open office environment with frequent interaction and distractions
