Job Summary:
Sparks Group has partnered with a government contractor to find a Program Manager.  As the Program Manager you will support and oversee a portfolio of federal programs. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with contract requirements and organizational objectives across multiple locations. The Program Manager will oversee planning, resource allocation, budget tracking and performance monitoring, while proactively managing risks and maintaining strong communication with government stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of relative program management experience and hold a PMP certification, is able to operation in a fast-paced environment, balance competing priorities, and deliver consistent, high-quality results across the program lifecycle.  If you're looking for your next opportunity, apply now! 


Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage complex federal programs and multi-project contract operations overseeing cross-functional teams across multiple locations
  • Serve as primary liaison to Government stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, coordination and alignment across all efforts
  • Drive program performance through planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk mitigation, and timely delivery of contract requirements
  • Supervise personnel and team leaders, support training, performance management, and team development while fostering strong client relationships
  • Implement and refine SOP's, processes, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency, quality and overall program performance
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Project Management Professional  (PMP) certification required
  • Minimum of 4 years of program management experience supporting federal contracts, including delivery of high-quality customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • US Citizenship is required for this role
