Schedule: Oct-May: Tuesday-Saturdays (10-6 or 8-4); Six week summer component with 3 weeks of residential programming; other months M-F 9-5. Some overnights during the school year as well.

Position SummaryYOU Inc. is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Coordinator to lead the Bruce Wells Scholars Program. The Program Coordinator will oversee a team of full time and part time advisors and manage comprehensive support services for up to 60 low incomes, first generation high school students.
This position focuses on providing personal, academic, career, and financial counseling, coordinating internship and community service opportunities, and supporting overall student success within the program.

Provide direct oversight and supervision of program staffDeliver and coordinate academic, career, and financial guidance servicesManage internship and community service partnershipsOversee program planning and implementationMonitor program budgets and ensure fiscal responsibilitySubmit required monthly reportsCollaborate closely with the College Access Director to ensure program effectivenessFacilitate leadership development activities and college access tripsParticipate in special events, including those requiring evening or weekend hours
Supervise and lead BWSP staff to ensure effective counseling services and overall program delivery
Provide individualized and group advising sessions to support students’ academic, career, and personal goals
Coordinate community service opportunities, college awareness activities, and internship programs
Lead planning and execution of student leadership trips and team building activities
Monitor student progress including grades, attendance, and graduation requirements
Maintain timely communication with students, parents, and school guidance counselors regarding academic or program concerns
Collaborate with the College Access Director to ensure the quality and success of both college access programs, BWSP and Upward Bound
Represent YOU Inc. and Seven Hills in the community at events and serve as a liaison to external partners
Conduct monthly staff meetings and program planning sessions to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives
Maintain flexibility to work evenings and weekends for special events and trips
Willingness to lead overnight trips including summer leadership retreats and college access tours
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 0–3 years of related experience in academic support or youth mentoring.
- Standard driver’s license (Class C or D).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
