Job Summary:
Our client is hiring for an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to operate as a one-person crew, managing projects from start to finish across Colorado. This is a field-based role with flexible hours and minimal office visits—ideal for self-motivated surveyors who value autonomy and variety in their day-to-day work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform land surveys including Boundary Surveys, ILCs, Topographic Surveys, and more.
- Handle full project lifecycle independently including - County records research, Fieldwork and data collection, Boundary resolution, Drafting deliverables in CAD/Civil 3D
- Use Trimble equipment (GPS, Total Station, and data collectors) for high-accuracy field data.
- Coordinate with the office team only as needed (occasional in-person meetings).
Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor license or 2+ years of experience as a Party Chief
- At least 2 years of drafting experience in CAD/Civil 3D.
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
- Must reside within 60 miles of Denver, CO.
- Colorado surveying experience required
