Description
Take the lead as a Professional Land Surveyor in Lacey, WA, supporting major public infrastructure and transportation projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established multidisciplinary firm known for delivering large, complex design-build work and long-term public sector contracts, offering the chance to make a major impact in a leadership role while helping shape the future growth of the surveying department.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor position include:
- PLS licensure required
- Department head-level experience in land surveying
- Background in public works, transportation, and infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads, OpenRoads, and LiDAR-related mapping technology
- Lead and manage survey crews and office staff
- Provide surveying support for internal engineering and design teams
- Perform QA/QC review on survey deliverables and project documentation
- Help support department growth and potential business development efforts
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
