Join the Smurfit WestRock team in Sioux Falls, SD as a Production Worker!

 Available Shift(s): Must be able to work any shift in a three-shift operation. 

  • 1st Shift: 6 AM - 2 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM 
  • New employees typically train on days for the first three weeks of work, then transfer to an off shift.  


Starting Wage Range:$20.84/hr, with increases ranging from $21.17 - $24.87 after 60 days

Primary duties include:
Safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set-up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating manufacturing equipment/powered equipment safely and follow specific directions
  • Maintaining a clean work environment
  • Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations. 
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, life, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 12 hrs a day. 
  • Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis. 
  • Required to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload.
  • Must be willing to work any available shift. 
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Other duties as assigned
