Production Worker

Must be able to pass a drug-screening test.
High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
Must be able to remain standing and or walking for 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Assist in maintaining well-organized, clean and safe work environment, report safety concerns to immediate supervisor or operations manager immediately.
Assist machine operator or other superior in any of the following tasks:
- Safely remove parts from production line, inspect, weigh and pack per packing specifications.
- Obtain and prepare parts and supplies for use in production and packing, including proper assembly of gaylords, trays and/boxes.
- Removal of trim and other scrap from work area to ensure clean environment.
- Request, retrieve and apply case labels to finished product.
Understand functions, capabilities and safety rules of the thermoformers and/or other production equipment if assisting machine operator or working near machinery.
Support and participate in required cGMP and safety training.
Conduct assigned duties in compliance with prescribed Quality Management Systems, cGMPs and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the operations manager.
Responsible for assisting thermoforming operations supervisor by performing supportive tasks that facilitate manufacture of finished product and general warehouse activities. Perform requested duties in compiance with good manufacturing practices and procedures and proper safety princiiples.
