Production Supervisor

Location: Onsite
Reports To: Plant Manager

About the Role

Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising employees engaged in the manufacture and assembly of products. This role ensures production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality standards while leading day‑to‑day shop floor operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives
  • Organize and prioritize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production operators and support staff
  • Oversee production output to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor performance, submit reports, and track progress against goals
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process issues; recommend and implement improvements
  • Enforce safety policies, procedures, and company standards at all times
  • Supervise approximately 20–30 employees, including production operators and support staff

Required Qualifications

Experience & Background

  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar manufacturing leadership role
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, mechanical production environment
  • Experience working with manufacturing machinery and production tools
  • Preferred experience in metal fabrication and welded assembly operations

Education

  • High School Diploma with relevant manufacturing leadership experience
  • New college graduates with technical, engineering, or related degrees will be considered
