Job Details:
We are currently seeking a passionate, results-driven, and innovative Production Supervisor for our manufacturing plant. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that drives the operational excellence and process improvements in our manufacturing processes. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily production needs, maintaining efficient production lines, and ensuring that the manufacturing process adheres to both internal and external quality control standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the daily production operations, including planning, scheduling, and managing the production lines to meet output and quality targets.
2. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
3. Ensure adherence to quality control standards, identifying any issues, and taking corrective action as necessary.
4. Collaborate with the supply chain management team to ensure the timely delivery of materials and manage inventory levels to meet production needs.
5. Coordinate with the logistics management team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of finished products.
6. Oversee the fabrication, plastic, and molding processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
7. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
8. Train, mentor, and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
10. Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience with Quality Control, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, and Logistics Management.
4. Strong knowledge of fabrication, plastic, and molding processes.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
9. Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other relevant disciplines would be an added advantage.
